Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan may just be one of my favorite animes. And rewatching the first episode again yesterday, I think I love it even more now. So, seeing as there is very little content existing for this show, I thought I might as well try to pitch in! Plus, I think we would all love to see Uramichi happy anyways. "𝑠ℎ𝑒'𝑠 𝑚𝑦 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠....." Uramichi Omota works on the educational children's program "Together with Maman" as a "Gymnast Onii-San", teaching kids on how to stay fit and healthy. However, despite his upbeat and happy persona that is shown on the TV, Uramichi is anything but happy. Underneath Uramichi's forceful smile, is a jaded and worn out man who can't seperate his true personality with his fake personailty on "Together with Maman", telling the children on the show the sorrows of being an adult while filming. Despite his depression, Uramichi still has one thing that helps him wake up in the morning and keep living on.....his daughter, Y/N. 6 year old Y/N Omota is too innocent for her own good, making it Uramichi's mission to help prevent his daughter from becoming just like him when she becomes an adult. Though, this mainly leads to Y/N becoming entangled in Uramichi's workplace and causing the already chaotic workplace to become even more frenzied.
