Cayde was no stranger when it came to warfare, being one of the lucky ones to survive the battle for demter, only being part of a few battle and being link to a Ion chassis: AB-6890. When Cayde heard about how all remaining I.M.C units were being stationed to Gridiron, Cayde decide to lay low from the rest of the frontier war. Going into 'retirement', putting his pilot gear and Titan in storage, Cayde decide to stay on the planet; Solace. During his time on Solace Cayde ran into Elliot Witt as a bar tender, the two slowly fromed a friendship and even shared each other's backstorys. After hearing what happened on Gridiron from Elliot, Cayde wonder what happened to both the IMC and Militia, so he decided the best way to find answers was to join a old blood sport; the Apex games.

Rich boy Octavio gets kicked from his childhood home after his latest stunt that had placed him in the hospital. Young Elliot left alone in hospital after him and his mother fell victim to a drunk driver, his mother taken away to a care facility to treat her amnesia. The lifeline, Lincoln Hunter Guillever reign as the new owner of the magical portal, but he did it on purpose. He wants to find his beloved, Reese Aerwyna Delos Santos, who died from an accident. One portal left, the human portal is different because it was known as the curse portal. If he insists to enter, he cannot come back and he will die if he grows old meaning he will become normal and mortal. He waited and lasted for decades, but he still did not find Reese until he decided to enter the curse portal and begin the new journey as a normal person with the people. Cover made by JVArts!
