How do you describe a broken heart? To me I imagine a tiny little creature, much like a fairy, so delicate, resides in all of us. so innocent, so sweet, not knowing what resides beyond the inside of a cage inside our hearts, for her it's a trap, and she so desperately wants to get out, but the sad irony is that that cage is actually a shield, and once she trusts the night in shining armor we call love and escapes, the big bad world wounds her, to the Point where she longs to get back to the safety of that cage, but she doesn't know her way back, and the path she has to take to get back to the safety of that cage is what we call depression, a journey through a cold and dark path, where no light seems to shine through, nothing but misery and sadness. A journey that seems endless and could take months, even years..and once she finds her way back, she's so scared of stepping out of there, she isolates herself, to a point where the she no longer trusts anyone anymore.
