I survived a stroke and decided to write to show people how precious life is. In this collection, every verse is a journey. Inspired by the natural rhythm of the English language and the liquid fluidity of its sounds, I explore what it means to be alive-from the quietest lake to the fiercest fire. These poems encapsulate the essence of a writer's soul, A symphony of feelings that strike, take their toll. They speak of life's complexities, its twists and turns, Offering solace to those whose hearts ache and yearn. On the first page of this book, let it be known, That within these poems, an emotional realm is shown. May they stir the depths of your being, unmasking what's concealed, Leaving an indelible mark, in hearts they'll forever be sealed. So immerse yourself in these verses, dear reader, with care, Embrace the emotions they evoke, the stories they bear. For within these pages, a journey will unfold, In the realm of life's poetry, where emotions are bold.

They ask her what she fears most, and she says "heights." But the truth lives quieter- in the dust on her brushes, the fading fire in her hands, and the art that no longer feels like hers. Between the weight of chores, the pull of duty, and the ache of a dream slipping away, this is her confession.
