"The Reality of the Poor Man"** is a 40-stanza narrative poem told through the daily life of a father living in poverty. Each stanza moves through a different facet of his experience - waking before dawn, worn-out shoes, leaking roofs, hunger, his wife's quiet sacrifices, his children's unanswered questions, rejection, illness, aging, and small moments of joy and kindness. It builds toward a closing message: that poverty isn't a mark of weakness or laziness, but a daily test of endurance, dignity, and love that deserves respect rather than judgment.

Why would I want want that fake company when I could choose the other instead? I want real company from real people, not fake company from fake people who just wants to gossip about my feelings.
