This is a story that I had originally made for a project in my World HIstory class. After playing a role play/choose-your-own-adventure kind of thing, we made a journal and then turned that into a story. ~*~ Allestra always wanted to experience the thrill of the ocean, even after her father had disappeared one fateful night at sea. Girls weren't expected to be able to do much, so to be able to make her dreams come true, she disguises herself as a boy to find out what an ocean voyage will be like. Follow her in the adventure she takes across the Atlantic Ocean.

Adeline is a German nurse during WW2. When her unit is destroyed, she is captured by the Americans who are in desperate need of her help. She gradually warms up to the American soldiers, who aren't all that bad. Except for one. James Henry is skeptical of the German nurse. However, when she takes a bullet for him, he finds himself seeing her in a new light. She saved his life. As they become closer, the end of the war grow nearer. What happens to the couple as he gets shipped home, and she stays in Soviet infested Germany?
