I never really though about death, or dying for that matter. Always seemed like a foreign concept that holds little weight to it. Of course, I've lost people throughout my life. Grandparents and other relatives, to disease and accidents, but the idea of abrupt finality never really registered within me. That is, until my mother died. I never really thought about death, now it's all I think about.
