That what we've seen in the movie is just Zephyr's imagination created on Hiccup's sparse explanations? That after HTTYD 2 (in chronological meaning) objectively true is only Homecoming? This is true edition of what actually happened... At least for me. You can too consider this canon if you want... Hooligans are still exiled out of Berk, dragons still leave, still there are only Berkians shown here, but I've put much more emphasis on character editions from RTTE and Warlords. Oh, and Deathgrippers survive! This is my first fanfic, so it may have be poorly written in some places. I'll be grateful for any constructive criticism! Not sure if I'll stick through with this. Enjoy what I do write. Moxie doesn't think dragons are real. Not until she's turned into one. A mysterious old woman tells Moxie that far away, in a hidden world, dragons roam free. Of course, Moxie doesn't believe her. But while on a trip with her father to the island of Berk, she meets a man named Hiccup that tells her what the woman said was true. Again, Moxie denies the beasts' existence. Then, just before her trip back home, she's given a strange drink by Hiccup's wife, Astrid. She doesn't think anything of it; Astrid was just being hospitable. Then she wakes up with wings and a tail. Moxie is terrified, and feels like she's hopeless. She realizes dragons ARE real, and she's lost among them without any friends. Then comes Xayli. A handsome Nightfury with scales blacker than ebony and eyes greener than emerald. Moxie soon finds herself drawn to Xayli and Xayli helps her find her way in the world of dragons. In the end, Moxie is unsure whether to remain a Lightfury or go back to being a human.

This book is based off of the How To Train Your Dragon movie series. It's about the Light Fury (Pearl) and is written in her perspective!
