She'd found the place on a melancholy day perfect for dramatic life-changing decisions. It was a quaint little thing, sitting on a rocky outcropping quite a ways from...anywhere, really. She fell in love with it more or less instantly. Luckily, when she visited again on the next clear day, she was still just as much in love.

Hope was always an open girl, even though she didn't go to public school, she still got a proper education. She learned from her father: The Lighthouse Keeper, all the traits and attributes of making sure mariners and their boats got to the harbor safely. Hope loved with her father in the generations old lighthouse off the coast of England. Reed was a sailors boy. He learned from the best of the best how to sail, steer, and navigate a boat and the big blue ocean. Hope never left the land around the lighthouse. Reed had traveled everywhere. In one troubling storm they come together to face the fights of life on the sea and maybe find love along the why.
