By twenty-five, you're supposed to have either a husband or an explanation. I have neither. My name is Abhilasha. It means desire in Sanskrit. This has aged badly. I am twenty-five and not married, which means every achievement I have is now considered a hobby. Something I'm doing until my real life arrives-with a photographer and too many relatives. In my house, age is not a number. It is a reminder. Repeated. Daily. Casually. My mother doesn't ask why I'm not married anymore. She sighs. Like I've forgotten something important at the grocery store. "We just want you to be settled," she says- the way people talk about gas cylinders. This is not a story about marriage. Note: this is basically Venom and Freeze MV but with Y/N. I wrote this just for extra writing practice. I.N, who had been quiet all along, finally spoke up, his tone still icy and detached. The members couldn't help but feel a chill creep up their spines as his words hung in the air. "That's weird," I.N mused, refusing to meet the gazes of his the others. All eyes turned towards I.N, his calm and collected demeanor contrasting with the tension in the room. His gaze remained fixed on the wooden table, seemingly uninterested in the brewing discussion. Changbin, perplexed by I.N's comment, questioned him. "What's strange?" I.N finally lifted his head, meeting Changbin's gaze directly. His words were measured and calculated. "If you went through the same maze as Lee Know, and they used the gas to drug him, how is it that you were still sober enough to find your way back and leave those directions on the wall?" Changbin was taken aback by the question, his initial surprise giving way to anger. The suspicion in I.N's words struck a nerve, causing him to rise from his seat. The intensity of his anger was palpable, and the other members instinctively averted their gazes, unable to meet his furious eyes. "What are you trying to imply?" Changbin's voice rose, laced with frustration. "That I'm the one betraying everyone?" I.N maintained his silence, turning his attention back to the table, as if unfazed by Changbin's outburst. The tension in the room thickened, the weight of their situation amplifying the emotions that ran deep within each member. Changbin's frustration grew, and he threw out a bold claim, challenging I.N. "You could be the betrayer just as much as I can!" Changbin asserted, his voice laced with desperation.
