Walter and June are a mature couple attempting to recover a bit of the lightness they had before life happened.

Darkness is on a time limit. He must retrieve his staff of power before his snobby, older brother, Lightness destoys the human race. His only problem? Blake Jones. She's your average girl, but she has something that Darkness desprately needs— an old acoustic guitar. Darkness must find a way to get Blake to become Lightness's immortal slave without telling her that in order to save the human race, she has to sacrifice herself to a creep she hardly knows.

And yet, when danger threatens both realms, Lerrina still chooses to protect the one who fears her most. This poem is about how as a little kid we used to catch fireflies in jars to watch them dance around and were fascinated by the fact that their butts glowed. Even as we grow older that fascination never stops it just takes a different form than fireflies. Whether it's love or music there's always that light in the darkness of bills and mortgages that seems to drown adults today.
