Lightpaw has lived her life surrounded by hatred. Her father's abandonment of the clan for a kitty pet sparked rage towards her. But why? Because he named her? Because she looks like him? She's not sure she wants to know. However, being tormented by her clanmates and disowned by her siblings and mother isn't Lightpaw's only problem. A deep secret is hiding within the clan, and she's one of the few who knows about the heinous deeds lurking in the shadows.

Blazefall is a full warrior of MossClan now, under the leadership of Ebonystar, the greatest leader in the history of the Clans. Even though everything appears to be normal in the Clan, Blazefall feels like something's off, almost like whispers or echos blowing in the wind. A young ShadowClan apprentice struggling to keep up with her siblings fast-paced learning. Lunapaw and her siblings feel out of place in ShadowClan. Well for one thing, they don't know who their parents are and they can't hunt or fight. And for some strange reason, all of this only seems to cause more tensions between Lunapaw and her sister, Splashpaw. Lightpaw, Soulpaw, and Flowerpaw try their best to help them get along, but no matter how hard they try, Lunapaw and Splashpaw just can't seem to find common ground with each other.

Barkpaw, brother of Milkpaw, Spottedpaw, Fawnpaw, Lightpaw, and Mousepaw, has discovered a terrible omen wrapped around he and his littermates, and must discover how to prevent it from coming true.
