This was a contest in April 2020 in a splatroad discord server that was all about making luminous, weapons, etc, so I decided to compile all of the entries into one story! This was the result. People made their own traits and (some people, not all, made) weapons, so if something looks similar then it's most likely a coincidence. Of course, I had to change a few things so the story would flow well, and nobody actually wrote their own story of them fighting their luminous, so yeah, this was mostly done by me. The character references will be shown at the end of the story.

I got Olive Waffles's permission to post this, and LightRoad is her idea. Despite the fact it is called "Canon" LightRoad, it is not actually what happened. Mysticoral, the one who created this, wanted to make LightRoad "Canon" by swapping out Prince and Emperor with Vintage and Skull. - Edit 8-2-20: thank you for 1k views! Edit 9-8-22: I probably should've stated this earlier, but we no longer associate with Mysticoral. ALSO this fic is dated and kinda cringy. - This is a collaboration on remaking of LightRoad on a google document. I mostly worked with grammar, spelling, and the way some characters acted, someone else also helped with words and vocabulary, someone did Vintage's character and swear words, so on, so on. This story has changed a LOT since you may have seen it, and I'd probably recommend ages 17+ for the sake of swearing and violence being used in the story. It is an alternate universe. However, in case you have NOT read LightRoad before: When the squidbeak are sent to a famous city for a final exam, they are overjoyed about the fun they'll have. Little do they know however, an organization plans on giving the city a foul fate. Will they be able to stop these villains in time? What secrets await in this new location?
