When Adam, Dr. Morgan's mysterious stalker makes his grand entrance, and the whole game is thrown into overdrive, Dr. Morgan must choose: Run, like he always has, in hopes of ending it, and leave everyone he cares for in danger, or keep his own and fight. As chaos settles over their lives, Lights needs to figure out how to balance the insanity of it all before she loses her residency, or, more importantly, loses her life. As Lights decides to make one final stab for the truth behind the Maverick, her father's death, and her mother's insanity, a terrible ultimatum falls into place - she can make or break her future, but it all depends on where her allegiances lie. The clock is ticking, and death does not wait for those who bear his mark. [This work was mostly written for fun, and to avoid writer's block, however it is very flawed, and I have to edit it a lot.
