This is a Mortal Instruments fan fiction. It takes place 3 years after the end of the last book in the series, City of Heavenly Fire. It has spoilers from all of The Mortal Instruments, Infernal Devices and Bane Chronicles. This is not just my work, I also have a close friend helping me. But no one ever seems to realise what they have until its gone. We take things for granted. When Ella loses the second person that means the most to her, it all comes rushing back to her. The endless battle between loving him and hating him to save him, because to love, is to destroy.
