This story will continue from the original plot. I'm thinking about writing fluff AND smut too but I want to keep their character as much as possible so thats why I'm thinking of taking things a tiny bit slow. This is my first fanfic so don't expect anything big--- If you have any tips or suggestions please tell me!! I will be trying to update everyday!!

Light and L, together as dorm mates but also as detectives. Together they try to find the real identity of Kira. As they work on the case they discover something that was unexpected, especially in this situation. This is a Lawlight fanfic (Death Note). Light worked in a Coffee shop. He didn't mind the job, mostly because he liked to people watch. He would watch how they'd laugh and talk to one another and then would come up with stories of their lives. Everyday there would be this one customer that came in, but he could never match a story to him. What happens when Light finds out his real story?

What happens when L starts to get feelings for Light? Will Light return these? What happens when Light regains control of the Death Note? Will he kill L or kill Kira?

Being chained to somebody isn't exactly an ideal situation. Especially when the person you're chained to is the one person on the planet who could destroy your entire life. Literally. Yet Light Yagami finds himself stuck in that exact situation. And not only is he chained to such a person (the great detective, L), but slowly he's finding it more and more difficult to stay distanced from the man. That tends to happen when you get to learn a person's little quirks, he's noticed. So many heated moments are shared between the two, both attracted, both afraid. Will one simple slip-up be the start of something new for the both of them?
