Especially what does morals mean when all you do is follow the one you admire most? Light Yagami and Chase Sato were childhood best friends. Light was always perfect and had a privileged life with loving parents and a great sister. Chase was average but still always tries to catch up to Light during studies. They both have the same morals in terms of justice, right? The justice system is corrupt and many people get punished without fair trial. At least, that is what Chase always believed in. He wanted to try to make a career that has laws involved. From a lawyer or detective, he would love to make a difference. Light has the same motivations, right? Then one day, the news of Kira has been out in the news and while Chase couldn't help but to be fascinated, he also felt a put in his stomach. Something didn't feel right. Will Chase remain the same, or grow to stand on his own feet, especially if it means going against the man he loved and admired (Didn't want to see LawLight but wanted to see Light being paired with a male character/reader so I did this Going based on memory or what I can see, just depends.
