From a shy girl to Kiras helper You begin to decide to help him make the world a better place but with L tracking your every move it might be a little hard. You start to develop feelings for light. Would that make you crazy for liking a mass murderer? (I wanted to make a light x reader because Light deserves more love <3 there aren't many Light x readers so I'm happy to make one!) "Tap Tap," I tapped my pencil on my desk while staring aimlessly out the window, then in a flash, the book fell. I smirked looking back up to the front of the class and saw light starring out the window too. "Heh, this shall be fun," I said looking to the side "Don't you think so King-San~?" "Fun indeed," he smirks. Just as the bell rings Light leaps out of his seat and out the door, "Come on let's follow him," I pick up my bag and sling it over my shoulder and follow him to the courtyard making sure to stay a few passes behind him. He stops in front of the book and looks to his right than to his left but not behind him, and picks up the book and opens the front cover, where he should uncover the rules if it's the same as mine. I smirk and turn around and start to walk home, "Looks like little light found a new toy."

You are a detective working on the Kira case along side L and Light. You have an obsession with Kira that goes far beyond professional interest. Will you catch him? Or will he catch you? This is a Light Yagami/Kira x Reader Lemon for the most part.

L x Reader x Light (Y/n), goes by the alias Kyori Yukine. Infatuated by the most popular boy in school, Light Yagami, she stalks him day and night. One day after class, she notices Light dropping a blank sheet of paper, unknowing that blank page will change her life, as well as the new boy in school. After all Kira investigations are shut down Light Yagami finds another problem. A problem that isn't so easily fixed. An anti Kira cite gained a lot of traction. He wants to find out who it is but he has no clue. Until he meets the strikingly beautiful [name] [last name]. As they both investigate the other it's hard to say how this'll go. They're a knife and a gun, they both deal good damage, but while a knife has disadvantages you cannot underestimate it. Will wits prevail or will love give no winners. That is up to you to find out for yourself. I do own nor claim to own the rights to death note characters or the concept of death note. I am not the writer of death note.

You the reader have to choose where your loyalties lie. Will you stand by your childhood best friend, who is now on the path to becoming the greatest detective in the world? Or will you side with your new best friend, the super genius mass murderer he is investigating? if you wanted to self insert yourself into the plot of deathnote then I definitely think you should read this. mostly the same plot just following your point of view of getting pulled into the mix of everything. Triggers so far: bad grammer, swearing, A/N: Rewriten chapters 1-5 so expect much better writing,(thanks Grammarly) and better understanding of the story. Also expect those chapters to be much shorter than newer chapters since that was my writing style at the time.

(y/n) catches feelings for the attractive, smart young man in her class. What happens when the young, soon-to-be detective gets interested in the Kira case? Will she learn of her boyfriend's schemes in time or will she fall victim to her heart.

Kira has captured your heart---and it appears that you are starting to capture his. It's early on in the investigation, and L is getting closer by the minute. Will you and Light Yagami live happily ever after? Probably not.
