Despite how much he has changed from his original programming, it's all still a strong part of XR. No matter how much he teases, denies, or diverts, he is more like Buzz than either of them really want to admit. And as far as how much XR had overcome his programming? As Team Lightyear takes on a new member with a major upgrade the Evil Emperor Zurg brings back one of the greatest evils known with an upgrade with his own and it's going to take everything the Rangers have to stop him, as well as give one Ranger the revenge he's earned to be free from his awful past and begin a new chapter in his life.
