For Karl and Vlad, the sem break of 2018 was like a movie, but the credits have rolled and the movie's over. What happens next? This is a sequel to the 2020 web series Gaya sa Pelikula(Like in the Movies), continuing the story that many fans hoped to see more of. As such, it is also dedicated to everyone who loved the series and these characters. More importantly, this is my love letter to Karl and Vlad, who changed my life. Here's to them.

Two young Filipino boys both from broken families always had their fates converge especially when the musician-at-heart smart guy, Sean, moved in next door to the rowdy, sports-maniac, Leo. Even at the young age of 12, both boys knew that they would be each other's best friends- and even possibly be non-kin brothers. Now 18, Leo's mother had decided to leave the Philippines and work abroad as a nurse. With this decision, Sean and his mom offered Leo a place to stay. Thus, both of them now share the same room, the same meals, and even go to the same school. With totally opposite personalities, it's always a spectacle to see the two jive well together. It was the year 2014 and both wished to be best friends forever... not until they realize the feelings they have for each other.
