Brae is your average 17 year old girl, except that she won't speak. Her mother left when she was just a little girl, forcing Brae and her dad to fend for themselvses. Her best friend, Liam, is one of the most popular guys in school. Practically all the girls in the school have a crush on him, what with his jet black hair that falls in his piercing green eyes, natural tan, and just an overall good guy personality. Will Liam be able to save Brae from herself or will her secret end up overwhelming her?

A new found friend, Cherise is openly gay. Always bullied and not accepted Cherise has longed for a friend and she's just the friend for Liles. Sticking up for one another they become best of friends. And maybe even more.
