While there, Lena meets her new trainer, Kara. The chemistry builds, but more is going on behind the scenes that will impact both their lives. A Sequel to Lena Luthor: Supergirl's True Kryptonite They say that loving someone is one of the bravest things you can do, especially if you've been burned by it before. So, what happens when that very thing is used against you? What would you do if loving your partner was the thing that would kill them? After the Crisis event and Leviathan, Lena Luthor thought her life was starting to stabilize. She and Kara were closer than ever now that they had revealed their secrets. And while Lena still struggled with knowing that her best friend was National City's superhero, she was beginning to lower her walls. However, just as peace settled over National City, Lillian intervened. In a twisted attempt to show her stepdaughter that her feelings for Kara are misplaced, she kidnaps the heroine and subjects her to the influence of red kryptonite in hopes that it would reveal the danger she poses. However, it doesn't go as planned, and Lex, seeing an opportunity, weaponizes the one thing Lena thought was safe - her feelings for her best friend.

This takes place after the end of Season 2. National City is still reeling from the Daxam invasion. A portal stands outside of the city proper, a chilling reminder of what befell them and what could happen again. Lena spends her days and nights at L-Corp trying to rebuild and working on a project she shares with no one. She avoids Kara, guilt heavy upon her shoulders for the part she played in placing trust in Rhea. This starts within a memory, within a dream, and reveals the hopes and dreams that make the child into the person they will one day be. There are no answers offered her, only questions. At first, Kara and Lena both keep their feelings hidden from each other, but it doesn't last long. Falling would be easy, but staying together would be difficult.

As the title suggests, a series of struggles Kara and Barry go through with raising a family. Filled with action, drama, romance, my best attempt at comedy and more. Bonus, there may be a few Kariver mentions in the story as well as Karamel. I do NOT own Supergirl or the Flash, this is simply for entertainment purposes.

To be honest, she always told herself that there was no place for a relationship in her life. Thay she would be single all her life and it didnt matter to her. She had het sister, her friends, National City. But thats when Mon-El came along. He was selfish and reckless, but she couldn't stop thinking about him and she didn't understand why. That's when he kissed her. He was sick and he kissed her. She so terribly wants to talk ti him about that, but he doesn't remember and she feels like maybe it's for the best. But maybe not... She wants to talk to him, to tell him how she feels, but will she have the time to when something terrible happen and changes everything? [Read to see what happen😉]
