Ellie and Ash are back once again in another exciting adventure! After parting ways with their Kalos companions and returning to their hometowns in Kanto and Sinnoh, they soon catch up on what their adventures will be waiting for next. Now, Ash and Ellie have arrived at the Alola region on their vacation with their families, go to Pokemon School, and start their next journey here. Along the way, they meet their classmates named Mallow, Lana, Kiawe, Sophocles, and Lillie. Team Rocket was also there to try to steal Pokemon, capture Pikachu, and kidnap Ellie as usual. But as a surprise, their plans were interrupted by a Bewear. Now, Ash, Ellie, and their friends will travel across the entire Alola region find new Pokemon, make new friends and enemies, and train harder to compete the trials for the Alola League. They will also stop a group of thugs called Team Skull led by their leader Guzma, and defeat some powerful strange creatures called Ultra beasts.

Lusamine may be passionate about Ultra Beasts and the wormholes they use to travel between worlds, but is horrified to see her two children going into one! With Ash's Pikachu by their side, Lillie and Gladion explore a Pokemon paradise and reunite with a very special someone. This story contains elements from both the games and the anime.
