A white cat with peach markings, named Lilykit, is trying to find her way in the world, with her two sisters and one brother. And with a mother from Thunderclan and a father from Shadowclan, she is reached with challenges. Just living has proven a problem, as the crazed Shadowclan leader, Raystar, seeks revenge on a Thunderclan Warrior, and uses the now Lilypaw and her sisters, to do it.

The Dark Forest had been defeated once in The Great Battle... After the Great Battle Mapleshade and the rest of the remaining Dark Forest cats had another battle and won that when the clans were still recovering from the last battle. Mapleshade and her deputy Redwillow come up with something to make the clans suffer, they call it the Slender Games, where you take 5 cats from each clan INCLUDING skyclan to fight to the death! Smokekit is the older brother to his little sister Lilykit. She was born deformed with a flat face, flat ears, a curled tail and her legs were the worst. Smokekit knew if he hadn't stepped in Amberfur would have killed her. And even if Smokekit doesn't want it, Amberfur starts liking him more.
