https://youtube.com/shorts/gpzXUDC-Daw?si=QOKmaR8SZb0o0DAh This flesh 'n' blood cousin of the ship 'o' the desert, here is given that funky punky, stylish haircut? Could it be optical illusion or screen manipulation, causing him to grin in mock jubilation? And ain't he gonna toss those bangs like some real groovy llama? My, doesn't he look ready for any showbiz dromedary drama? Ah yes, he does look handsome. Do come have a view of this fuzzy, comedy dromedary beau! Send in the paparazzi, for he's already saying cheese. But he prefers his own kind: send in some lady llamas, please. We're sure he's fit to pose with former president Obama, or even with his namesake, the famed Dalai Lama. Hey, like humans, llamas can stick their tongues out and spit to express displeasure. So keep your distance from angry ones, or you will regret the mismeasure. The one in the picture is a cool llama teenager, but he's no teeny-bopper, for he's a teetotaller, as no one ever saw him with a bottle of gin or lager!

This is a collection of my poems. None of them are arranged in any particular order, but the dates are recorded, so I would advice considering my age when I wrote these. Enjoy! =D

The Roots That Made Me is a journey through my McCarthy family tree, uncovering the people, places, stories, and memories that shaped who I am today. From the generations who came before me to the legacy they left behind, this book celebrates where I come from and the roots that made me who I am. This is the story of my ancestors, tracing the long path from the coastal shores of Kinsale and the train lines of Cork up to the front doors of Barrack Street, Cork and High Street, Limerick, built entirely upon the names and trades I have uncovered in the archives. The inspiration for this playful limerick came from the fun I had with the rhyme work in my limerick, A POET NAMED ANDREW, published recently when Andrew Green, the author of Margaret's Story, was learning to write his first tempoem. This limerick contains a simple, quite obvious message for those of you who might be learning to write limericks.

In honor of National Poetry Month, I'll be posting poems on here and will (hopefully) have 30 poems here by May, and I'll continue but not as often after that.
