Prequel to "Lives Forgotten". Lin Beifong vowed her children would never be neglected. No matter how busy she became, she would not make the same mistakes as her mother and grandparents. Yet somehow, like herself, Lin's children must grow up without their father, and like Toph, within the boundaries of a secluded estate far away from the city, in isolation.

The Legend Reborn is a story I wrote in late 2014 about the Avatar after Korra. After the release of the Legend of Korra follow up comics I went back and added references to the events of the comics but didn't change my story. Following the 2021 announcement of Avatar Studios I decided to share my ideas since it's very possible Bryke could decide to continue the Avatar Cycle and render my story implausible. I hope they instead decide to go backwards (possibly a Kyoshi series) since there are also many other great fan projects that would be rendered implausible by a Korra sequel (notably The Legend of Genji, a project very different from my own but has my respect and admiration). But who am I to disagree with what Mike and Bryan do with their own fantastic universe. This follows the story of young Terra, an earthbender whose father is an airbender (read the story to explain why), not a good match. She admires Lin Beifong and hopes to become the Chief of Police, like her idol!

Almost six months have passed since Yuze and Lin reunited, and their bond as mother and daughter has been growing stronger with each passing day. Everything seemed to be going well-until vivid dreams started to invade their sleep. Meanwhile, the Republic City Police noticed that the triad they were investigating was becoming increasingly active and engaging in suspicious, unknown activities. On top of that, tensions between the Southern and Northern Water Tribes were escalating, with the Avatar caught in the middle. And don't forget President Raiko, who was adding his own complications to the mix and plenty of headaches for the Beifongs. How would Yuze and Lin deal with all of this without their personal lives getting entangled?

Azula's life was filled with tragedy, abuse and misery, even until her death. She committed crimes and ruined so many lives due to the trauma she suffered. But what if she got a second chance due to a very generous avatar? Sent into the world of avatar Korra, Azula should have an interesting time proving that she's changed, if she's changed at all Note: I don't own any of these characters or avatar the last air bender or legend of Korra universes.
