They warned her not to go into the Library, but she didn't listen. This story is based on The Harris Burdick Picture, Mr. Linden's Library.

This is my take on Mr. Linden's Library. It is only two paragraphs but i think it's quality writing. Maybe don't read this before bed. I don't own the picture, it's Harris Burdick's, but all the writing is mine.

I wrote this story in grade 7 or 8 English class (so it's not exceptionally well written) based on a picture called Mr. Linden's Library (pictured as the cover). I don't own the picture or the title but the story is original.

Bethany hates books. She hates school. She hates her life in general. Her father is gone, homework is killing her, and Ms. Thompson seems to hate her. But when she finds a special book in an unusual library, it turns her life upside-down. Soon, she is faced with another problem that uproots and destroys everything that she's been wanting.
