Jessica is a young nursing student who has the chance to become the first in her family to have a career and is moving to New Orleans to start her residency. While studying she becomes attracted and drawn to Avery, a first-year resident neurologist who has a dark appearance around him. He does not talk much and though she tries to keep her mind focused on school, she cannot help but find herself following him after work and finding reasons for the two of them to become closer. Will her obsessions become more pressing than her dreams?
