People often discuss how their story builds up by starting as friends and ending up as lovers. Brett Yang and Eddy Chen were exactly this, beautiful friends to beautiful lovers. Well, at least they were. Now, they are lovers on the way to being friends again. They always portray breakups as bitter and revengeful, but Brett and Eddy were different. They are mature about it and it happened for a reason. Yet, there is something painful about the arrangement. Something about seeing the man you once loved and once loved you back, going on and loving somebody else that isn't you. Even if both of you agreed to a mutual breakup, that doesn't mean that it will not be painful once you see the scene in your head. The man you loved, the one you should be happy for, is now with someone else. How will Eddy Chen even cope? - - - - - A Breddy fic filled with angst and fluff. "Let us yield to love." Brett Yang knew from the very moment he saw Eddy Chen. He knew that this was the man that he had to be with. It was his soul begging him to love the man and he gave in. He always knew. Eddy Chen was always looking for love in the wrong places. Brett Yang had been there ever since he could remember but he never knew Brett was in love with him. He has a girlfriend, he loves her and the relationship had grown steady but something in his gut tells him he's in love with someone else. Brett deals with a confession from a friend but it was the same time Eddy realized his feelings for Brett. Will Brett pick Eddy at the end of his time? Or will he pick the one who loves him in order to give him a chance? As they say, let us yield to love.

They meet for the first time when Eddy is thirteen and Brett is fourteen, on a Friday evening. Eddy thinks, naively, that maybe they'll be best friends forever, but Brett becomes a violinist and Eddy doesn't; they've left each other behind, and their careers take them across the world to success and fame, two parallel lines always moving forward but never meeting. Until they do again. AU where Eddy chooses to go to medical school instead (or more accurately, his parents pressure him).

Rika Wei is a young lady from a very prestige family during the old China period. She fell in love with Eddy Chen, the casual violinist she met on the street. In the other hand, she had a fiancee who happened to be a guzheng prodigy: Brett Yang. Will Rika find her happines with one of them?

With an important recital approaching, Eddy struggles with his worsening condition, but Brett refuses to let him give up. Together, they pour everything into their music, unaware of how fleeting their time might be. Brett aids Eddy in rediscovering his passion for music.

This fan fiction is based on the World tour in Berlin. I wasn't there but i know one person that posts an instagram story where Brett and Eddy were playing Clair de lune on one violin. The things i wrote there aren't real but i wanted to write all my thoughts that i hope were happening :,)).
