The Calamity had returned. Link is missing, presumed dead, along with the Queen of Hyrule: Zelda. All seems dark, and more than ever before the world is tittering on the edge of a blade. Poised to fall into a pit of despair to which it would never return. Yet, when the world is at its darkest, and there's no hope in sight. That is when a hero will arise to light the way, and banish the shadows from whence they came. As the old legends say, where darkness rises, a hero of light will too rise to meet it. This is the story of Link, after his happily ever after.

The Calamity has been defeated, Hyrule is safe. It may take a good while but eventually the Kingdom of Hyrule might once return for the first time in a century. Everything is normal, up until something new appeared on the Sheikah Slate. Something that would not only change Link's life but the lives of those who suffered at the hands of the Calamity. Zelda sends Link to investigate what these mysterious new readings mean. His adventure is not over yet... far from it. Inspired by "Romance is in the Air" by @Azadia_the_Rito (please check them out their works are incredible) I've decided to try my hand at making a fanfic with the endgame being my favorite pairing: Link x Revali. I know it may seem odd to spoil but I want people to know what they're getting into. (BTW this is my FIRST time writing one of these so please bear with me) This will not be a purely romance story but it will be a major part later on. I just really wanted to dive into this wonderful world with my own touch, so here's how I'm going to do it. To start Revali is my favorite character in Breath of the Wild and I think all the champions deserve more story and interaction with Link. This will be taking place after Calamity Ganon's defeat so be wary of spoilers. This will be a SLOW burn and when I mean slow I mean like halfway between a snail and a glacier. Not crazy slow but just enough to make it worth the payoff. I'll say that right now no matter what happens there will be a happy ending because I can't bring myself to write a sad one. Not that it won't get sad along the way, oh no I'm going to take hearts and mince them into a fine chopped stew of emotion. I promise however I will preface anything I feel worth warning about in the beginning of each chapter in authors notes. No matter what happens I just want y'all to know that as long as one person smiles, all the work is worth it to me. Hope you enjoy! :)

Warning!: Contains mild spoilers for Tears of the Kingdom (Rito Village Regional Phenomena Main Quest) Link had been visiting Rito village consistently for a couple of weeks now, which initially did not seem like anything out of the ordinary. However, Teba and his son, Tulin start getting worried as Link remains silent. Note: I am nowhere near a good writer, so please don't hate about plot holes and stuff because I was also doing this in a hurry 😭. Tips are welcome!

Solstice Day is time a time of joy and good will for all who inhabit Hyrule. It is a time of giving gifts and enjoying delicious chocolate confections! However, there is a slight problem. Revali procrastinated and forgot to secure a gift for the Solstice. Now it's only a few days away and he's panicking. Whatever will he do?

A Hyrule holiday brought back from being lost to the ages. The entire castle is decorated in oranges and blacks with cats and keese creeping in the night. Everyone is clad in visages of monsters and ghouls, creatures of legend meant to frighten away evil spirits. It is also a time for candy and jubilant celebration, especially for the children of Hyrule. For the champions, they face a new task. One that will test every facet of their skills... Hosting an All Hallows Eve party!

This storyline follows after Age Of Calamity where all of the champions are alive. After defeating Gannon the champions live their lives at the castle for the time being because that's where they are most needed. Revali has been at Links throat and hates his guts but even he notices that even though Link is Link, he was even more quiet and distant than before. He starts to realize him and Link aren't that different from eachother after all. READ TO FIND OUT MORE!!!

So... Link dies after defeating Gannon, right? And he soon finds himself in the afterlife. Slowly, he begins to figure out his afterlife, alongside the champions. Him and Revali no longer have anything to fight about, and they don't even need to take an interest in each other. So why do they always end up together in some way shape or form?

Link knew what day was coming up. Personally he had dreaded it because he didn't want to screw it up. The Day of Flowers, a day of gifts and confessions of love. He'd been traveling with Revali for a long while and the question of what gift to get him was driving him crazy. Luckily a slip of the tongue gave him the perfect idea and he set out to retrieve the perfect gift. Hey guys Happy Valentines Day! This is a short little one-shot type thing I wanted to do for the occasion. This takes place in the same world and time as "A Lone Arrow in the Quiver" but at a random point in time during their travels. Consider it a little side story or side quest. Not important enough to make it into the main plot but not insignificant enough to not mention it. I hope you enjoy!
