After successfully defeating Calamity Ganon the first time, Mipha, the princess of the Zora, presented Link with the Zora armor, handcrafted from her light scale with the idea of marriage in mind. The hero of hyrule humbly accepted and lived his life to the fullest. Mipha bore him three children but because of the long lives of the Zora people, he only managed to stay with them until they began school, when he ultimately succumbed to his age. This story takes place about 20 years after Link's death and Mipha's children begin to wonder and ask what was their father like? This fanfic is just for fun, I don't own the Legend of Zelda franchise.

It had been one hundred years. One hundred years of praying that they would awaken before it was too late. One hundred years of hoping that they would remember who they were and what they had set out to accomplish so long ago. One hundred years of waiting for her friends to come back home to her. Because of the rewrites of CoaFA becoming so massive, I have decided to migrate CoaFA into this, so that I can avoid writing chapters that are far too long or having to deal with the nightmare of trying to integrate new chapters between the old ones. Monsters had been plaging this world for a very long time. In most cases, the kingdoms knights are able to manage their population and prevent disasters. But not always... This is the story of a boy whose village was massacred by monsters, he is the only the survivor. At the young age of 3, it looks like his life is coming to an end. That is until a zora family finds him and take him in. This is the story of Link a hylian raised by and among zora (This story is an AU without the calamity or the story surrounding it aka no champions, not master sword, no sealing power, it is a slice of life and in addition zora have similar life span to hylians here.) An AU about Mipha's and Link's life together post Calamity. I tried to have some fun with this story, taking it in different directions, developing Mipha's and Link's family, making up some adventures, and creating some connections to other Zelda stories. But the main theme is Mipha's and Link's love for each other and building a happy life together. I'm sure I don't always succeed, but I try to keep the story light hearted and generally opt for happy outcomes. The first 2 chapters now incorporate the prequel stories 'His Future is in the Past' and 'Beginning Life in Zora's Domain', so this AU is self-contained in one story. Zelda is finally crowned as queen of the kingdom, giving Link the time and rest he desperately needs. With all this said, Link can't shake the fact that their victory came with a price that cost him his dearly beloved, Mipha. Unable to bear the burdened thoughts any longer, he seeks for a way to reunite with his lost love, even if for a moment.
