The title "Amoureuse" - is the French equivalent of the English adjective amorous and is also a feminine noun meaning lover. In a world where love and loss intertwine, Lisa finds herself battling Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. But the physical pain pales compared to the emotional torment she feels watching the only person she's ever loved-Jennie-fall for someone else. Jennie, blissfully unaware of Lisa's illness, grows closer to Lisa's mutual best friend, Chaeyoung, as Lisa silently withers away, carrying the weight of her unspoken love. This is a story of longing, heartbreak, and the tragic beauty of selflessness. It's about the inevitability of change, the fragility of life, and the rawness of loving someone who can never be yours. Together, in the silence. Forever.
