Evangeline - or more commonly know as Angel, is one of the Blessed. She is ‘blessed’ with the hunger that causes her jaw to dislocate and jagged razor sharp teeth to grow instead of her normal, more human teeth. She is also ‘blessed’ with the guilt of wanting to devour the flesh and soul of a human being. She is ‘blessed’ with an insane killing mother who ate many women and a father who she never met. Adrian’s a Hunter, someone who hunts and kills the Blessed for a living, one of the immortal ones. All Hunters and Blessed are immortal, except the Blessed need to feed in order to live on, if they don’t they’ll simply grow old and die, hence the reason the hunger strikes at a certain age. Adrian’s on a mission, a mission to save Angel before she feeds and ruins all the chances of becoming one of the Hunters, but to get to Angel and win her trust, he’ll need to become someone Angel knows, which means leaving his home where all of the Hunters stay and venturing into her territory holding onto the hope that she won’t rip him apart limb from limb. Angel is a nobody, and not because she’s ugly and too smart or stupid, oh no, no, no, no, she’s gorgeous and highly intelligent, but she produces this dangerous aura that no one wants to challenge, so they simply leave her alone. She’s more then used to the being ignored, but not so used to really hot guys that could easily date the queen bee suddenly befriending her, his own aura radiating the word “danger”. But what does he want? Why does he want to befriend her, of all people? And why does he make her want to eat him more then anyone else could? To the point where she’s pinning him down and presenting a lovely set of razor sharp teeth that could put a shark to shame. (Sorry, I suck at descriptions; it’ll be a lot better then this! ^-^ So please give it a chance!)

But then one day it was him and one Harley Buffy Solace, Or as he called her Buffy. He was the only one that called him that which was fair since she was the only one that called him Anthony. It was then the two of them. Harley and Lockwood. Buffy and Anthony. The two were Yin and Yang, one couldn't live with the other. Another thing is probably an obvious thing if you just looked at the two of them. They were hopelessly in love with one another but their friendship was two strong to break. This book is literally just me rambling about my random headcanons. This mostly follows stuff related to Grian (ex: Hermitcraft, Life Series, Evo etc.) I have no schedule so I'm sorry if this is really inconsistent. The mountain is a lonely place for all the creatures that inhabit it, and those that call the mountain home are always the most peculiar of creatures. Eyda's people have a lot of legends about their home, most of them about a mythical Pearl that is said to harness the heat of dragon hearts, and about a creature called the Listener. Eyda decides one day to leave her home, in search of this Pearl. But there are other things that she will come across in her journey. A disembodied voice. Little skeletal, bug-eyed dwarves. Flesh eating bugs. Things that are not what they seem to be are everywhere.

You'll like it if you enjoy dystopian stories like The Hunger Games, Shatter Me, Legend, or Divergent.**
