Grian had been happily playing in season 7 with some of his best friends. When he randomly gets attacked in the End, he learns of a rebellion planning to kill him, leaving Hermitcraft, Mumbo, and his subjects, Watcher and Listener alike, under a tyrant's rule. However, with this attack comes a friend. A friend long thought dead. Can Grian safely neutralize the threat, keeping himself safe in the process? When one player gets forcefully turned into a Watcher and brainwashed to the point of no return, he starts attacking servers, attempting to kill the Watcher King, Xelqua. When he attacks Hermitcraft, somewhere in the back of his mind he recognizes two of the players. Having been under the effects of the Watcher realm for so long has made it near impossible to break free from his mind's prison. Near impossible. TW: Shipping of some characters! (NOT THEIR IRL SELVES, JUST THEIR MINECRAFT PERSONAS!) There may be blood, but not will not be heavily descriptive. Potential for death! Torture! (Will not be above a PG-13 type level, nor super descriptive!) If you are uncomfortable with any of these, this story is not for you, and I'd recommend you click off! I may or may not add more TWs once I finish rewriting a chapter or two! If there is bold, I'm talking to you or emphasizing a part of the story.
