Set in the mid-2000's, a young man tries to make sense of his surroundings while simultaneously doing everything he can to escape them. This is my first collection of assorted short stories all wrapped up in the theme of people, places, and things. Which, for all of its integrity, means a collection of short stories revolving around literary fiction dealing in realism(or surrealism), everyday happenings, and exploring the world as is through the lens of people as they are. Subject matter will range from the obscene, to the normal, to the extreme, to people, places, and things. -Short Stories will be taken from my blog directly, and, there might be overlap with short stories I have already posted onto my Wattpad account, since I might feel they would work well in this collection, and since I don't want to delete them from the already existent ecosphere of Wattpad space. -Any pictures used are not mine and were either found on Pixiv or on-line for the purpose of enhancing this collection.

Short story for the Literary Fiction Network contest where the prompt is to capture the struggle of a writer in 700 words or less. Being that alcohol and writers tend to go hand-in-hand, I chose to write a story about a poet plagued by writer's block, excessively drinking Hennessy to get the juice flowing again. What follows is a self-critical lens of sadistic depreciation and inner eye's surreal journey of reaching towards truth while locked away in its physical vessel. Also, the title and indeed drink itself is inspired by 2pac.

But Matthews has a proper job, there's eleven years of history there, and he would give anything for Emma, if only he didn't feel like he was betraying Craig...
