"The shadows they moved like beings made of wax, the scent of sea salt, rotten meat, & candle wax filled my nose. A candle on a table made of dark oak flicked to life making the shadows sway like a sail in the breeze. I got dizzy & lightheaded, my legs felt like they were going to collapse, & my vision blurred. I then heard a voice, "Within the mind lies the truth," they said. Their voice sounded muffled and I felt like I was going to pass out. Two hands the size of my head grabbed my shoulders. The hands were dripping, the smell of sea salt & wax was stronger, the hands even looked like globs of wax put together. The moment this person touched me everything was put to ease, I felt like I could breathe. I then woke back up in my bed with a sense of ease & airiness but after a minute dread creeped in."

This Oneshot fic is starring my two Little Nightmares ocs, Button and Hat Kid. HK had saved button from a sticky situation and is now forever loyal to the other. My Little Nightmares obsession isn't as big as it was a couple of years ago, but I'll occasionally update this! This book mentions cannon characters and early development ideas from the game as well. (Will add cover art eventually)
