Max doesn't hate Bradley, even after everything that happened at the X-Games. He is however worried, no one has seen or heard anything about Bradley after the games, and when he showed back up at school the next semester, Max noticed how off he acted. He was alone and constantly being bullied and made fun of whenever he was seen. Max seemed to be the only one who noticed Bradley's behavior, he looked sad and he seemed to want to be invisible. So ofc he couldn't leave him alone and decided to do something about it. He had to make Bradley be friends with him, and maybe a little something more.
