AproposofNone
A child born far too late.
Doomed to always be left behind.
Aadam was eleven. The youngest of four brothers. Youngest by many years. He was a late pregnancy, very late- the kind that made people whisper and mock. His brothers, age 19, 23, 25- were all older, closer. They had been a victim of people's whispers when Aadam was born. It had already been hard to not resent the boy for it.
But then Aadam was so different. Them, the confident brash children who had grown into strong young men. Aadam? Quiet, soft and always attached to his mother's hip.
And then she passes away. Leaving him alone with his Baba who slowly begins to hate him.
Now Aadam is twenty, confident, independent and rebellious without losing his gentle and quiet nature. His rebellion once a necessity, runs unchecked. Atleast until he runs into a shadow of his past.
A story of a young boy growing into a young man, alone but never bereft of his qualities. He becomes the sweet, kind young man he was always meant to be, but not without his own flaws that run deep.
Can the elder brothers ever heal the damage they have played part in... or will Aadam find another way to heal without closure?
