Fall, Little Italy, 1968-- The leaves are changing and the Feast of San Gennaro is right around the corner. For Francesca Rizzo, though, an aspiring writer stuck behind a corner shop counter day after day, life couldn't be any more stagnant. "Apathy, apathy, APATHY," she continually jots down, her life motto, "Wake up, stock shelves, repeat ad infinitum." All she wants more than anything is recognition for her writing, and soon the young woman who can only see skin deep will take up an offer from a shy, up-and-coming actor.

Welcome to Little Italy, NYC. Meet Lucille Anthony. A 23 year old girl, owner of a small, old-fashioned gym in her beloved neighborhood. Orphaned after her father and mother mysteriously died, she lost her only family bond five years ago in a New Jersey fire. When everything seemed lost, she decided to follow her dream of living in the Big Apple, having a small family style gym and lifting a lot. Iron Fitness Studio was doing great, she had her friend Maddie by her side and was quite building a life of her own..., but, ... things seem to change when she participates in a few women's wrestling championships. An extraordinary force, humility and a bit of romance, this is a short story fiction, the beginning of the Iron Girl story. I'll gladly hear your feeback!
