In the night, something stalked. It leaped on rooftops and crouched in alleyways. The faint chiming of a bell that hung around the creature's neck filled the silent air. It growled and pounced, it being a natural predator that protected it's territory with heroism no-one could could match. "Here kitty, kitty!" A voice called, followed by a series of snickers. The creature's black pelt matched the equally inky-black sky that hung over it's territory. It growled and prowled towards the group that dared to joke about her. "I see our little kitten!" The same voice called. A series of drunken laughs followed, then a series of alcohol induced hiccups. It growled and leaped down from the rooftop. "So, who's going to die first?"
