Mare goes back to Norta months after the events of War Storm, along with Evangeline, Elane, and Farley. This is the story of Mare rekindling things with Cal, Evangeline trying to deal with the current issue facing The New Free Republic of Norta, an assassination attempt that left Julian, the current Premier on his deathbed, and Farley trying to figure out what, if any, Powers her infant may possess and how on earth she's going to deal with them. *Though none of this is a Marecal oneshot, Cal's fourth POV can be read as one. **I OWN NOTHING!! (Updates every other week at least) This takes place after War Storm, so there are spoilers if you haven't finished the book. Haunted by her past, Mare tries to adjust to life after a war, only to be thrown back into more chaos. After everything that has happened previously, Mare is still trying to find herself and ends up learning more about her own mind than she had imagined. Luckily, Cal is by her side and they are ready to face all danger together. {takes place after Glass Sword} Don't read if any of the following is your trigger: rape like situations, torture, abuse, violence, and starvation. Mare has surrendered to Maven and is immediately taken as prisoner. A small piece of her thinks that there's still hope left for Maven, her once betrothed. However, that is not the case. He is obsessive, cruel, and cold. Will Mare live?

This takes place during the final showdown between Mare and Maven. It mostly covers Maven's thoughts and feelings as he dies. I got this idea from reading a Hamilton fanfiction where Eliza meets Hamilton in the afterlife, so there is a few references... well there's one, and the title is a reference to off Broadway Hamilton. Anyways, hope you enjoy!
