He sets out to find Six, somehow certain that this ship is where she must have gone to. When the pair finally meet, Mono follows Six to her destination, which was indeed The Maw. He did everything not to use his powers, everything, yet he couldn't help but give in when it came to saving his best friend thanks to them. This, only to be let go, assumed dead- wanted dead. Mono thought it was only him and his mind, but it was much, much worse- until he escaped the signal tower, and sought his revenge against the one who left him there.

The runaway kid had lived within the confines of this place for far too long. He watched child after child be taken away by the Chefs and Janitor alike. He knew what became of them, and couldn't bare to stand by any longer. He planned his escape, but could never have planned for another boy to tag along.
