Mono escapes The Transmission at last, and finds himself laying in a dark room beside a drawing of a very strange ship called The Maw. He sets out to find Six, somehow certain that this ship is where she must have gone to. When the pair finally meet, Mono follows Six to her destination, which was indeed The Maw. Now aware of his loop between him and The Thin Man, Mono begins to notice something sinister the closer they get to the place. This is not an X-Reader. The story is merely an insert for others to experience in their own escape adventure from the Maw. I've seen numerous X-Readers but not many reader inserts of this type. As a result, I decided to create one. Please enjoy the story and thank you for reading. At the moment I am working on rewriting this story in parts. Please understand that some chapters may not align with the plot, pov, and events at this time. This rewriting phase also takes a lot of time given I make it a point to go back and reread/edit a lot. But, there hasn't been a one spotted since the Pixl Queen. Ones are seen as dangerous because of their potential and are to be killed at birth to prevent future tragedies. Not that many had been born. In fact, it's extremely rare to get any numbers below ten. A young Blumiere lives in a dark tribe in this dark world. Labeled as a number six, he is the most powerful being born as far as everyone knows. But what happens when he finds himself in the presence of a One? A tale about friendship. About finding light and love in a world where that doesn't seem apparent. About lasting bonds and about broken bridges. Join us, as One shines a flashlight into the darkness. Follow Blumiere as he follows One in his quest to bring back the sun. AN: For once, this is NOT a ship story. I want to be clear, it is NOT a BlumierexOne story in any way. It is purely a story about friendship and the bond between two children. This story takes place before SPM. It's an alternate Universe where things used to be a lot darker, so it's by no means canon to either game. The universe is heavily based on Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2, however, though some names are the same, none of those characters from that game are in this. So this book is a sort of spin-off to the other one I've made: Little Nightmares II: Three's A Crowd. That means that there'll be spoilers for that book in this one so please read the other one first, or at least up to Chapter 26 before reading this one. To avoid spoiling others I'll make a little information chapter to start off with so that you know what this'll be about and what to expect. That way you won't need to sit through a chapter of this to know what kind of stuff there'll be. (I do not own Any if the Little Nightmares franchise, this includes Little Nightmares 1 and 2, and Very Little Nightmares, or the comics.)
