Abe Mazur, is the known father of Rose Hathaway, and the unknown daughter Callie. Callie has lived with her father since birth. What will happen when Rose and Callie meet for the first time? Will Callie be jealous of Rose and Abe's relationship? Will Callie handle all of the changes happening in her life? Or will she break down?

(REDONE) She saw the world differently. She knew that fairy tales were more than fairy tales. She knew what loomed under the deadly blue water. She saw the green eyes staring at her from far away, waiting for her to touch the sea so he could claim her. Claim her as his forever.

So, this story is essentially a retelling of Anderson's little Mermaid, (With brief references to the movie). I have attempted to replicate his writing style to some degree and certain portions of the story follow his exact paragraph structure. However, I have written it to that the little mermaid falls in love with a female princess. I have also embellished it a bit to give it more of a theme than "Die for the people you love". It has ended up being much longer than the original but I am proud of it's similarities and of its differences.

An assignment I had in 9th grade. We had to write a 108 line poem that was based on a fairytale that we twisted. Cover is not my photo.
