Luis is a sixteen year old boy with short, brown, curly hair, chocolate brown eyes, five foot six, and has a personality that nobody can seem to read. He has attended school, and still does, regularly at Freedom High School in Brooklyn, New York for three years since his family was stationed at Fort Hamilton. His life at home looked wonderful to those who he was close to. When friends were invited they couldn't believe what they were experiencing. A big house, stairs that led to a second floor, a bathroom in every room, a huge kitchen to prepare well cooked meals, and a divine living room with much needed space for fun family activities or to hang around after a long day. It surprised Luis a lot because they were just visiting. They didn't know what really happens behind closed doors when nobody was around to witness the horror in his eyes. Warnings: Swearing, Abuse, Etc.

A collection of poems I have written dated from high school to present. A lot of these are controversial writings, pieces that are too sensitive for today's society, for many to grasp and carry. Some of these are extremely personal and real life writings. I'm a living book, and I'm ready for you to turn the page.

I'm beautiful, I'm rich; I'm every guy's dream. In other words, I am perfect and I'm not afraid to flaunt it. But that's only what they tell me. I can't remember anything after the accident. I lost every memory I ever made, every thought I ever had. I was in a coma for five months and when I finally awoke in that sickeningly white hospital, no one would tell me anything; not even the black haired boy that scrambled to find a nurse as I moved for the first time in almost half a year. No one will give me the whole story and no one will tell me the truth. But I'm determined to figure it out because it's my life and I need to know who I was before the crash. The only problem: I don't know if I want to.

Many of us blame for unfair privileges they have and them being cruel and selfish. However, there are many men who since tender ages said no and refused to be cruel, to participate in violence and slavery.

The Parting of Shadows is now split into three parts - Part one: Livid's past is a complete mystery. She was found at night in the warm sands of the great desert. Only a newborn, she was thought to be dreadfully ill because of her total lack of color. Her skin was as pale as snow, and even her blood was dark-gray in color. She now lives the solitary life of a shepherdess on the edge of the very desert where she was found some nineteen years earlier. In this environment, Livid has learned to take care of herself, and she fears nothing . . . Nothing, that is, except water! Living in the driest place on the world of Riven, she knows very little of this strange fluid, but seas of water haunt her dreams, and thus she fears it with debilitating terror. Meanwhile, far to the west, a bard named Curesoon has been seeking to find his family. Thus engaged, he steps into the shadows of the black bog Miremurk, and unknowingly embarks upon an adventure that will draw in many, including even the gray-maiden named Livid.
