Eleonor Smith is a young woman, recently graduated from a master's degree and with it, it seems to be an ocean full of opportunities now that she is what everyone would call a full grown professional woman. Truth is Eleanor couldn't be more far away from been that, she is in a country abroad, away from her family and friends, doesn't have a clue of what to do with her life and more importantly, at 25 she is still completely and utterly financially dependent from her parents. Eleonor is trying to find her place in this vast place we call world, even though she find herself been a little bit of a socially awkward person, she is trying to find a job that will give the representation she has prepared herself for, after all she is just a twentysomething trying to find herself while dealing with the quarter life crisis no one tells you about. Follow Eleonor in her journey of discovering life and more importantly herself, and hopefully we all would be able to learn something along the lines.

It's been over a year since I've started reading this webtoon and I am absolutely in love with it. I read a lot of Lookism fanfictions lately so I thought I'll write one myself. I'm not sure if it's gonna be AMAZING but I'll try my best to make it entertaining... The characters in the story (except my own) belong to the author Taejoon Park and his work 'Lookism'. I am merely making fanfiction and do not make any claim on his amazing work... Ohh and, a bit of an insight into the story title, iridescence means: the phenomenon of certain surfaces that appear to gradually change color as the angle of view or the angle of illumination changes. And, a thing about the webtoon Lookism I've noticed is that it sees the same story from different angles and that changes the impression we get of the story considerably. So, I thought it fits...

this is a short story. Shorter than the usual ones and it WILL feel incomplete. I have this mysterious sceptical side inside me which leads me to end everything bewildered. When Emma was five she died. For a few minutes anyway. During those few minutes she met death and made a deal with him. She would be his friend if he let her live until high school graduation. Emma is now 16. She has made bad decisions in her life realizing she won't live long. She no longer goes to school and her parents kicked her out. Emma has always had Death though.
