After a mysterious outbreak, the Southern Land of China is infested with the living dead. Shen Yu flees to the bamboo forest with her sister and guardian where they build a community, surviving off wildlife, cutting them off from civilization. For years, they protect their village until the Northern Land sends their warriors to seek cure from the Fountain of Miracle in the enchanted forest. Shen Yu meets arrogant but charming General Wang Zhou who leads the team on the mission. She finds it difficult to trust him. What if they break their promise to help the Southerners? Thomas was an ordinary guy. He was a doctor. Had no wife or kids. But one day it all changed. People started to get infected with a virus that brings you back to life. And that. That was the day everything changed.

I remember the day I first heard of them. I was driving my van with my mother in the passenger seat. The news channel was playing over the radio. The current story was suddenly cut off and a man's voice crackled over the speakers: "We interrupt this program to bring you breaking news," He began. "A new disease is spreading rapidly all over the world and infecting humans. Nobody is sure what it is; but we know one thing, It was stolen." A new voice came over the radio. "Hello, citizens of California! I'm here with Nicole Bradson, the leading researcher in Virus Studies at Baily University." The man said. "Would you like to tell us about this strange new epidemic?" A panicked-sounding voice came from the woman, she was clearly not pleased. "All I can tell you is to run. This virus was stolen from our laboratory. It was locked up for a very good reason. It is highly contagious and spreads through bodily fluids. You need to run from it. If it's too late to run, lock yourself somewhere safe until rescue teams can find you and escort you to safety. Do not panic." The man with the news crew interrupted her with questions. "Run from what, exactly? What should we perceive as a threat?" The woman paused for a moment as if thinking. "Do not attempt to approach anyone with red eyes. They are infected with the virus." Her voice trembled. In exchange for a place to stay Eric promises to help them search for supplies. As time goes by feelings start grow that could cause tension between the three of them. But danger isn't far as the creatures and some twisted minds are beginning to come closer. Eric tells them about Safe Haven and they plan on leaving the barn. Though tragedy strikes before they do, their lives are at a stake, and it turns into a bloody struggle to survive.

It takes you on an adventure alongside Erielle-Jaine(EJai), her twin, Joel(JT), her little sister, Danielle(Ryder), and her three close friends Lexi, Zachary, and Chase as they strive to make it through the terrible infected journey fill with an outbreak of an horrible infection that has taken over the US.
