Their relationship is already going through a rough patch but takes a turn for the worse when he turns up unexpectedly at her work right when she's in the middle of something ;)

Eleanor Harding moved to Llandudno with her mum after the divorce of her parents. Her mum was no role model so Eleanor had to stand on her own feet and make a new start in the place she now had to call 'home'. When she starts school Eleanor makes friends and becomes close with no other than Van McCann.
