She is a third-year high school student at Daikoku Private Academy. Although she has a perfect home life with loving parents, at school, (Y/N) gets bullied every day and had only one friend, Light Yagami. One day Light starts acting weird and all of her bullies suddenly die, but (Y/N) doesn't know if she should be happy or sad about this. (Y/N) takes interest in the Kira case. In her spare time, she tries to solve the case and her parents fully support her. The detective that goes by the name L becomes her idol. After her extensive research, she is noticed by L. But (Y/N) has been instructed to get close to Light, while trying to keep her relationship with L. True Love will always find it's way. Also just a side note~ a lot more happens. You the reader have to choose where your loyalties lie. Will you stand by your childhood best friend, who is now on the path to becoming the greatest detective in the world? Or will you side with your new best friend, the super genius mass murderer he is investigating? if you wanted to self insert yourself into the plot of deathnote then I definitely think you should read this. mostly the same plot just following your point of view of getting pulled into the mix of everything. Triggers so far: bad grammer, swearing, A/N: Rewriten chapters 1-5 so expect much better writing,(thanks Grammarly) and better understanding of the story. Also expect those chapters to be much shorter than newer chapters since that was my writing style at the time.
