Thrust before her are momentous obstacles with an intention only to bring vexatious indignation to her melancholic life. Stuck between a debilitating relationship that forces her down to her knees and an abusive enmeshed situation with her mother; Sarah struggles to amble her way through the labyrinth of her perpetually changing life and her battle for knowledge at her new learning institution. As the walls cave in, Sarah is tempted to try and fight through her hardships and make her life almost livable until she realizes that she might just be comfortable with the never ending pain and darkness. She is presented with several opportunities to run, to escape, to walk above waters but yet she chooses to drown, to choke in her desire for lust, to die for her diligent need for love. Sarah looks the very thing capable of killing her in the eyes, unarmoured with her hands on her hips. She is not naive, she will die and she knows it. But how is she comfortable with it? Is pain home? Is her constant search for fulfillment lacking only the wisps and shadows of the night? Will she ever know her worth? Or is she as worthless as she is treated by the ones she values most?
