When an old enemy from the past returns to continue their plans, Nya finds that the story may be more complicated then it seems. Kai Saunders was raised and trained by one of the hands of time, Krux, to become the ultimate weapon. Now that the foretold return of his brother has arrived, it's finally time to put that training to use. But a certain water ninja seems to have been distracting him. He swears he's seen her somewhere. This AU takes place during season 7 - The Hands of Time.

This is based right after season five of Ninjago, where Lloyd was possessed by the master of wind, Morro. He was traumatized and secluded himself from the other ninja, even his best friend. This fan fic begins in season 1 episode 10 and expands towrads season 11. What if, Kai left Lloyd behind and takes the Fang Blade instead? This will ultimately mean that he becomes the Green Ninja. Everyone knows the famous ninja team. Lloyd - The green ninja. Kai - Master of fire. Nya - Master of water. Jay - Master of lightning. Zane - Master of ice. Cole - Master of earth. But what if Master Wu never united them? What if they never met? Would their destiny to be the protectors of Ninjago bring them together anyway? Or would they protect Ninjago by themselves? I do not own Ninjago, only the plot.

Jay and Kai get blasted to a new realm after an accident now a year later Nya has created a way to go after them in this new realm. After venturing into this strange new desert realm they find that this place has some interesting characters running the place. Will they get Kai and Jay back or... is it to late? (Similar to a mashup of Hunted and The Ice Emperor)
